The fun starts in August, when we bring the animals over to the petting zoo. We have Cleo, Casper, X, and Y, our pet pygmy goats. Clod and Gertrude the Sheep wooly and wonderful. Whoosy and Whatsit the ducks, and Cock and Hen the chickens. They are all just hanging out in the Zoo waiting for someone to come out and say Hi.

Our Dumpling barn opens in August too. We have fresh fruit shushes, (strawberry, peach, cherry, cider). Hot apple dumplings made right here with TLC, and if you would like we will even put ice cream or caramel or both on top (my personal favorite). Of course if you just want ice cream you can get that also. Later in the fall we also have hot chocolate, great for on the free hayrides.

We have free hayrides on Saturedays and Sundays from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm in October. All that you have to do is come on out, get on the wagon and have some good old-fashioned fun. We take you around the back of the orchards to see the park type setting of the Appalachian foothills and the ripening fruit, set against the brilliant splendor of the autumn leaves. It is a sight that everyone really must see!

Next we have the Christmas Open House and Craft Show on the first weekend in November. It is the beginning of the Holiday Season. We have Santa, under the 15 tall live tree, with a free gift for every child, from 1:00pm till 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Everyone gets a chance at the nice door prize each day and don t forget the free cookies and cider. Then there is the craft show, with all kinds of Christmas gifts and ideas for everyone.
